With the HUMIDCHECK PRO you can quickly and professionally check the moisture content of timber at the construction site, or firewood for your home.

The operation is very simple: remove the protective cap and insert the measuring electrodes into the object to be measured – that's it. You can choose from 8 characteristics for about 150 types of wood. Temperature and humidity are additionally determined by a separate sensor; the temperature is taken into account when measuring the moisture content of the material.
 

Especially important is the measurement of the moisture content of firewood before using it in the fireplace. As wood cells have more than 20% water content, this leads to not only a decrease in calorific value, but also to smoke, tar and soot formation.
